These adorble soft fish ornaments are upcycled from preused fabrics, with button eyes. Stuffed with recycled clean cotton. All fabrics are washed thoroughly before repurposing! The only "new" thing on them is thread. Each fish is different, and each side of each fish is a little different, all are suspended with linen thread (stringer" through the mouth area

1. Wool and linen fish: grey and white wool with blue linen accents. about 6 1/2"
made from WWI Army issue blanket scrap, this blanket was recycled by my great great grandmother into the batting for a quilt for my mother when she went to college in the 1950's. We used the blanket for many years, and when it finally fell apart I started using the wonderfully textured bits of wool in fiber projects.
2. Green eyed fish: cotton two tone tan stripe sheeting, accented with cotton madras fins and bright green eyes. about 4 1/4"
3. Bamboo fish: men's sage green cotton knit shirt with what i think is a bamboo graphic in white, fins are brown and white polkadot silk, from a man's tie. Eyes are tan and cream. About 4 3/4"
4. Green stripe fish: two tone olive green stripe men's Cotton shirt with madras fins and brown and green eyes. approx. 5 3/4"
5. Red eyed fish: cotton two tone tan stripe sheeting, accented with red black and white poly blend scraps from a women's blazer. Red eyes. Skinny fish, about 7 1/2"
6. Blue Striped Fish: cotton two tone denim blue stripe sheeting, accented with butterscotch and brown cotton scraps and faux tortoiseshell button eyes, slender, approx. 5 1/4"
7. Bamboo Fish: cotton light olive and white shirt remnant, with big brown wood look eye with flower design in the middle, fins are rayon dark blue with brown, accented with sily white threads at the tailfin. approx. 5 7/8"
decorative accent only, please hand wash if necessary.
